Broadview College developed the Certificate in Veterinary Assistant with your future in mind.
With a Veterinary Assistant certificate, you’ll gain the knowledge, training and skills you need to excel in environments ranging from private clinics to research labs, all while learning to provide compassionate care to animals.
The veterinary assistant certificate program at Broadview College is a flexible and career focused program. Students are able to complete courses online while still attending in-person, hands-on labs. Upon graduation, you will have the opportunity to qualify for the Veterinary Technology program at BVC and continue your education.
The main advantage of hybrid online education format is flexibility. Enrollment into the Veterinary Assistant Certificate includes on-campus labs for hands-on practical application and online theory education you complete within your schedule, not ours.
Whether your future plans are to continue your college education or immediately enter the working world, Broadview College’s veterinary assistant certificate program has you covered. The Veterinary Assistant program concludes with an externship, providing you with real workplace experience before you graduate.
As a college student pursuing training in Veterinary Assistant certificate, you will be required to complete 31 veterinary assistant credit hours and 8 general education credit hours.
During your time at Broadview College, you’ll work hands-on with animals in our labs. You’ll even participate in a school externship at a local facility so you can have on-the-job training before you even graduate.
